Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is an annual event into the world spotlight. There exhibited perngkat product innovation and the latest mobile electronics. But this year a lot of the technology giant's absence, including Microsoft.
Microsoft's absence is the first time since 1995 that used to be the keynote speaker. Microsoft stated in 2012 was the last time they performed at CES. They follow the steps of other technology companies is definitely absent among Apple, Amazon, Google, Motorola, HTC, RIM and Nokia.
"Companies that move the technology ecosystem such as Google, Amazon and Microsoft does not exist in this arena," said Ross Rubin, an analyst at Recticle Research. "They prefer to hold their own events."
The analasis looked at the decline in the prestige of CES gadget era is now the reason for the absence of the technology giant. "Show a little like Mobile World Congress started more famous," said Patrick Moorhead, an analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy.
Yet some people still believe in the power of CES in increasing popularity. Samsung, Sony, Asus and LG are still joined to introduce new products. The plan Asus will show off Google TV and Samsung displays are limited S4 Galaxy series smartphones.
